    My TiVo Premiere drive died and I found a used drive on EBay from another Premiere (320gb Western Digital). After installing & setup, I thought everything seemed ok, but it will not record. All the other TiVo features seem to work, I can pause & playback up to 30 min on the current channel, and I get all the channels I should with my cable card (Comcast). But, if I try to record by pressing the Record button on the remote while on the current channel, it won't work. No record light, no error message. Items scheduled for recording show in the To Do list, but won't record. In the system info pages, my TiVo service # is shown as "not available" and is 000000000000000. The daylight savings field is shown as inactive, but the time is correct in the guide and menus. Any ideas on how to fix this? Anyone see this problem before?

      Well. That absolutely fixed my problem. Took almost 3 hours, but everything works as advertised. THANKS!
