HAve a tivo TCD 649080 can i switch out the hard drives- Series 2. Has lifetime on it and QUit working I have many others around my house, can i take a hard drive out of another one and place in this one, I have the following models: TCD649080,tcd240040, TCD649180...thanks in advance.

You can move a drive from any TCD649 unit, but you'll get an error #51 so you'll need this info:

ok so which one of these should I use. I know nothing about this but has a friend who will switch them out. Can i make it into a dual tuner?? Or am i am now just dreaming thanks os much.Comment
