Volume button remote issue

I have a Roamio The volume button works sometime and sometime not. All the other buttons work perfectly. Anyone have an idea what is going on? Thanks.

Sounds like it's just an old remote that's getting flaky.

We have replacements here:

Remote is only 2 years old. Should last longer than that.
