    Tivo HD - HDMI Splitter

    Can anyone suggest a splitter that works.

    I would like to split my outbound Tivo HD signal using my HDMI.


    I of the split connections would go directly to my LED Television and broadcast using the TV's speakers.

    The other connection would go to my stereo receiver....and then to a different HDMI input on the same TV....and would use my surround sound stereo receivers.

    When I go directly to the TV the stereo receiver would be off.

    Sounds pretty simple.........can someone who has done something like this
    successfully please let me know what splitter you used????

    Pretty tough - these are two-way cables, where the TV or receiver talk back to the TiVo, so splitters don't work well.

    Why not use the optical output of the TiVo to connect to your receiver? Same digital quality . . .

      Thanks for your suggestion.

      Will the optical work if I connect that to the receiver....with the HDMI cable still hooked up going directly to the television?

          As you need the HDMI Splitter which can replace the HDMI signals into two the best option would be to use this device it can really help you out in good way
