Strange series3 message

hello I recently bought a maxed out series 3 from weaknees. everything is working fine except I am getting this very bizarre message: "cable card considers host to only have 1 way rf capability". the message only appears on things that have been recorded on cable card2.

any ideas what could be causing this????

Do you get any limited functionality, or just the strange message?

its usually just the message and it is only while watching recorded programs. i have tried calling tivo but they never heard of problem either.

Are you running 8.1? Maybe that'll change this behavior.
