At the end of a channel information update, my TIVO HD either freezes or reboots. I have replaced the hard drive after verifying it for no errors. I then re-imaged the hard drive with winfms.exe. I also had the capacitors replaced on the power supply board. Even though I get a update fails "unknown error" message, sometimes the channel information is updated after the "updating channel information' screen blocks live TV for about 3 minutes. I also often get a reboot if I move between Tivo screens while the update is underway.

I also get a reboot if I am downloading a file from my PC using Pytivo and move through Tivo screens. It seems as though the updating or downloading is putting stress on the Tivo and moving through the screens 'overloads' the system. Don't know if this is the same issue as tyhe reboot at the end of a normal update.
