Replacement drive does not work

    Replacement drive does not work

    So now I supposedly have the correct drive, but after installing drive TiVo is stuck at "Welcome! Powering up..." and all of the lights are on on the front of the TiVo.

    Removing the "new" drive and reinstalling old drive.

    Please advise.

    Reinstalled old drive and TiVo works fine. Issue seems to be with new drive.

        I sent email as well, but it is a TiVo series 3 HD TCD648250B and the order number is 850684.

            Tried to replace drive again per your instructions - same issue. Sent email this AM for RMA.

              Tried to research this just now, but I'm lost. See the email. I think there may still be some model confusion going on.
