  • Need help after new HD install, please.

    Hi,

    It was suggested I buy a new hard drive for my Humax T80 after my Tivo was freezing about 3-4 times a day. I purchased a new one from you and installed it this evening.

    It is getting stuck on the powering-up screen. After a few minutes, the green light on the unit turns off for a second and then it starts to power-up again. I can't get any further than that. Could use some advice!

    Hi again,

    As an update, I removed the new HD that was hanging on Power Up and reinstalled the old one. The old one booted up fine (but will likely freeze as before during recording or playback). Should I suspect a problem with the new HD or something else?
