My trusty directv tivo Hughes sd40 seems to have died. Lately been getting a pixelatedpicture, jumpy picture and sound.

This morning I got nothing. The fan is running. No lights on and no picture obviously.

Opened up unit(since years ago I expanded capacity) with weeknees hard drive.

I notice slight sparking or arcing when I plug unit in at power cord connector.

Is that a bad power cord? connector? or power supply?

Just wanted to check before I order from weeknees.
