Brand new Premier lights on but nobody home

Plugged directly to TV via HDMI.
All front lights are on but no video and not responsive to remote.

What can cause this?
Is it a corrupt hard-drive or PSU issue?

Sounds more like a power supply.

Lights on the front? What model?
