I have read a lot of threads this weekend but can't piece together what might be wrong with my Series 2 unit. Here is the problem.

It is stuck in grey welcome screen. However here's what happens.

Unplug and let sit 5 min
Plug in and there is audio for 2-3 seconds
The green light comes on
The red light flashes
Then nothing but grey screen welcoming me

If I try unplugging and kickstarting sometimes I get to the yellow and sometimes not. But never past the welcome screen. No gsod.

The yellow light (right) stays lit and sometimes the green dims sometimes it stay bright and others it goes out. I have tried different kickstart codes.

Does anyone have thoughts on what it might be doing?
