    Hello!
    I am experiencing the S02 error message and my tivo guide has not updated since 10-19-10.

    Okay, I tried the pause #57 suggestion (tivo kick start), it did not work for me. No yellow light came on, regardless, I did push 57 anyway but my tivo went directly to the 'welcome/start up without doing anything.


    btw.. I have a humax t800; connected to dish network.

    That usually means you have corrupt guide data, which can be just that, or a bad hard drive.

    I'd try a "clear and delete everything" from the menus.
