Hi all,
So my new series 3 seems to be losing time at a rate of about 1-2 minutes per day. Does anyone have any idea why it loses time so quickly?
It gets accurately reset when it dials in. But the problem is that I only dial in about once per week. Why? That's life in a house with two toddlers who like to pull cords and 2 cats who like to chew cords. I plan to move in 5 months, so I don't want to rewire a phone outlet or set up a home network.
For what it's worth, my Series 1 Tivo keeps perfect time (as do my other appliances), so probably the electricity is OK.
I'm still under warranty -- is this a warning that I should pay attention to?
