Tivo seris 2, reboots when trying to read a message

I just upgraded a series 2 with a new Weaknees hard drive. Setup was fine--it records, shows, etc. No problems.

There is a new message in the message area---I've tried to read the message 4 times---each time I go to read it, it freezes, and then about 90 seconds later the TiVo reboots.

Any thoughts? Thanks for any suggestions.

Pretty strange - do you mind posting your TiVo model and order number?
