  • Series 2 viewing problem

    I turned on my TV and when watching it through my TIVO, the screen is mostly black with squiggly diagonal lines running through it. After pushing the top remote button, if you squint, you can make out the TIVO menu screen, but the picture is not viewable. It's not the TV because I can watch through another input on the set. This doesn't seem to be a hard drive problem because as I said, I can see the menu screen, just not clearly enough.
    Also, I have a second TIVO in the house, and I can transfer shows I have saved on my TIVO and watch them.
    What else could it be besides the hard drive? What can I do about this? This problem cropped up less than 10 hours after I last used the TIVO (it was working fine then).

    That really doesn't sound like a hard drive to me, but a motherboard.
