Tivo doesn't find listings for all the channels I get

    Tivo doesn't find listings for all the channels I get

    I just installed my new upgraded Series 3 from Weaknees. I've had cable for a while, so I decided to just plug it in and see what I get. Apparently, I GET a whole lot of digital channels, from 74-1 to 111-1... many in Hi Def.

    However, Tivo can't seem to find listings for these channels. I found them thru having the Tivo do a channel search rather than "believe" some sort of guide data. Is there a way I can tell Tivo which channel is which, so it can GET guide data for these? What the heck is going on here? Am I "stealing" cable?

    Do you have CableCARDs installed in your unit?

      Not yet. I was looking to see what I get without them, since I wasn't planning to go for any scrambled channels.

      You should know... I'm GETTING digital and HD channels. I'm just not getting any guide data for them.

        It does take several hours for the guide data to index. Anything now?

          It's been 5 days. No, I don't think it "knows" about these channels. If I had "official" digital cable, I would be receiving them on channel 800 or so. If I was using an antenna, I'd be getting them on channel 38.2 or something. I'm starting to think a formal guide pattern for this lineup doesn't exist.
