Sorry if this is already being discussed somewhere, couldn't find it with Search.
Is it just me, or does it look like they were halfway through implementing the new user interface for Series 4 when somebody said "We've gotta start shipping"? The new interface, with picture in picture and shaded menu items at the bottom of the screen and all that, gets abruptly replaced with the old interface when you do things like create a wishlist search. It seems incredibly unprofessional. Anyone know if they're working on an update to improve this?
The picture-in-picture feature itself also seems poorly implemented: for me there's a noticeable delay and screen flicker when the 'main menu' screen pops up if you've set it to display the current program in the corner, even when you were just watching that same program in fullscreen mode before pressing the TiVo button. It looks like a hack in a class project, not a $500 commercial product.
