We had a electrical storm outage. When the power came back on we repowered our Series 2 Tivo and got a yellow screen "Powering Up..." but it goes no further. I suspect a power supply failure, but I haven't seen any mention anywhere about a "yellow" screen... We are on our second hard drive -- one from Weaknees -- I don't mind putting in a replacement power supply but want to see if that is the most likely problem or if it might be the HD. Any help?

When you say you are on your "second hard drive," do you mean that you have replaced the drive since the power failure? -
No, it was an earlier install when the original hard drive failed. About a year ago. I only mentioned it because it is a relatively new drive, and that I'm not intimidated by working on computers, etc.Comment

fan is working
Also the fan is working, the left light lights up and the main faceplate light is on.Comment

If I had to guess, I'd say it's a bad hard drive.Comment
