    TIVO HD not saving programs

    I have my Tivo HD "To do list" set to record programs and the red light comes on indicating the program is being recorded. However, when the program ends it is not saved to the "My shows list". I can restart the Tivo and the problem is fixed for a few days but the problem returns.
    Any Ideas?

    That is a pretty strange problem. You might try to 'clear and delete everything' in the system reset menu to install a new version of the software and to wipe all of your programming and databases clean.

      I've tried that but it does not correct the problem.

          The history of previously recorded programs is displayed but doesn't show anything on the the one that failed.

            I have to say, this is a pretty odd problem. You might consider a kickstart 54 drive test, see:

            But frankly, I think you might have more serious problems.

              Thanks for the replies. This is a second Tivo so I'm not going to be too concerned about it. I have access to a used hard drive removed from another Tivo HD a friend upgraded. I will try that hard drive and see if that helps. If it doesn't I won't worry about it.
