I read through lots of threads to see if the answer is already there. It likely is, but I found nothing specific...
I closed my media cabinet (with my receiver running), and it was warm in there when I opened it.
No lights, no fan, no HD sounds on the Philips DirecTV TiVo. I got the power supply from a known good compatible Hughes box, and there was no change. And the PS from this Philips box powered up the Hughes unit.
With everything plugged in, the voltages at the HD connector were 0.5V/0.5V. With the HD-motherboard cable unplugged, it was the same. With the ribbon cable unplugged from the motherboard, the voltages were 5V/12V.
So I suppose that this suggest the motherboard, right?
