Over the weekend two of my TiVos died untimely deaths, one is a series 2 540 model with a dead hard drive (gray screen) and one is a series 2 240 model with a possible bad power supply (black screen / no lights). Question is can I use the power supply from the 540 model on the 240 model?
The 240 is lifetime so I'd prefer to salvage it and would like to verify that the problem it is actually the power supply and not the motherboard. Thanks for the help.
