I have a series 3 HD TIVO that is just over 3 years old. Worked fine until a week ago, but now frezzes up while watching. I have a Antenna for local HD & basic cable hooked up to it. If you remove the Antenna it works a bit better but not for long. Strange thing is if the cable is hooked up and it frezzes up it still will record the show OK so if you unplug the cable you can operate the Tivo & watch the record program. Tivo said try a antinuator to reduce the signal which is coming in at 96 Any Ideas? Do I really get an antinuator?

That's almost definitely a hard drive problem. A "replace" kit for your model should fix the problem:
