hr10-250 Adding ext hd

I have an accomdata 350 G hd. After plugging into the USB port. how do I get receiver to see it?

You can't do it. The USB ports are inactive.

HR10-250 cannot handle external disks.

The HDMI port is an HD video port; you cannot connect a disk there.

The HR10-250 can be expanded by replacing the internal disk with a bigger one. External disks do not work with it.
