Stupid Question from a newbie

Hi All, great board!

Q: if I upgrade to a Series 3 HD Tivo will the shows my wife kept on our series 2 look as good on an HD TB as they do now? She has several shows she wants to keep forever (music). I can make the transfer (I think) through my home network but I heard somewhere that analog stuff looks worse than normal on an HDTV. Is that true? Thanks in advance.

Actually, you can't transfer shows to a Series3 at this point. That may come in the future, but so far the ability to transfer shows to or from the Series3 just isn't there.
