Reset Humax without password

I have a Humax DRT400F series 2 I got at the thrift store. I can't watch anything because it has a password. Can it be set back to factory settings without a password?

Unfortunately, no. If you get a new hard drive, the problem will be solved....but I am not aware of any other way. You might be able to contact TiVo for assistance and/or to have them reset the password. I'm not sure. See: http://www.tivo.com.
