I had to switch to direct TV about a year ago. All was fine for about 8 months, when all of a sudden, channel changing became crazy. Sometimes we change channels as directed by Tivo, sometimes we don't. It will try and change to channel 305 for evamle, and the 3 will show up, but nothing else and I'll get the error sound. 1 hour laster when it is time to be on channel 305 for the next program, it will change without a problem. I have restarted everything several times, I've cleaned the IR sensors, moved them, tented them with aluminum foid, etc. Nothing will return me to great channel changing. If I use the direct TV controller the channels change as they should, so it seems to be the signal that the Tivo is sending? If I try to change channels with the Tivo remote, I sometimes get the channel and sometimes don't. Again, it appears to be the signal the Tivo is sending to the Direct TV.

Any suggestions?
