Tivo HD vs Time Warner Cisco Box

I have had a Series 1 since 2000 and just moved to an HD tv. What are the pros and cons of a new tivo versus the time warner dvr's?????? All input greatly appreciated.

I doubt you'll encounter much praise here for TW's cable boxes....but we'll see.

I know but given the huge cost diff it would help me convine the spouce to go with a new tivo.....

If you consider the cost of renting the cable DVR, plus the ability of the TiVo to get things like Netflix for free (potentially), I think you'll find that the added expense is really minimal.
