Tuner Issue or Signal Issue?
Series 2 DT unit working flawlessly until Thursday:
One tuner will display all channels. When I switch to the other tuner, the TiVo guide/info screen shows what should be playing, but then the screen goes blank. If I record what is on the "working" tuner, I cannot go up or down from that channel while it is recording (again seems the second tuner is no worky).
Final example:
If the "not working tuner" is "occupying" a channel, then the "working" tuner currently being watched, cannot tune that channel. That is to say, the "working" tuner can access all channels in the line up except for the one "occupied" by the "not working" tuner.
Analog input coax straight into TiVo with RCA connections to an SD TV set.
Time for repair, or upgrade?
