if i cancel service can i still watch recorded pgms?

switched to DirecTV because i hate Comcast with the heat of a thousand suns. am about ready to turn off my TiVo service (until they release the machine that will work with DirecTV) and am wondering if i will still be able to watch and/or record to DVD the programs that have been recorded on the TiVo.

The TiVo is basically useless without the service. I believe you can still access recorded shows. I believe you can also burn those shows to DVD, but I am not sure.
