I have the Series 2 DT TiVo and can transfer recordings from my TiVo to my computer for viewing. My question is this: is there any way to edit those recordings (mainly to remove commercials), then burn them to DVD using my computer? I usually use a program like Pinnacle Studio to edit movies and Nero to burn DVDs, but Studio won't let me import TiVo recordings. Is there something that will either convert my Tivo recordings to something Studio will recognize (.avi, .mpg4, etc.) or some DVD burning software that will let me edit these TiVo recordings?

Yes, you need the Sonic myDVD software. That's what can read those files and work with them on a PC.Been here a long time . . .

I was looking at the Sonic myDVD - will just the basic Studio version do the editing? I don't do a whole lot of computer stuff. So, all the descriptions don't make alot of sense to me. I really want to more then burn DVDs I want to edit my shows. Will I need to go Deluxe or Deluxe Suite or is the standard OK?
