Resetting Direct/Tivo

A couple of years ago I replaced the original hard drive in my Directv/Tivo with a larger capacity hard drive (141 hours) from Weakness.

I have an issue that I’d like to see if it would be fixed by performing a “Clear & delete everything” from the “Restart or Reset System” menu.

Is there any problem doing that with a Weakness formatted hard drive ?

Thanks for the response .... the reset went without a hitch .... it took 2-1/4 hours to perform the deletion.
