  • Please help!!! Pixelation/Freezing Problems

Ok, I am so confused and dont know what to do next. I have 2 HDVR2s, one in living room, one in bedroom. The living room unit would once in a while freeze the picture so that I would have to unplug and reconnect the unit. Up until about a month a ago I had it hooked to a tv that had a s-video input. I bought an LCD Flat Panel tv that has no s-video input so I had no other choice but to use rca cable. Ever since the new tv the picture would become totally pixelated (is that even a word). I thought because of the previous problems that the hard drive was failing, so yesterday I bought and zippered a new hard drive, plugged it in, same problem. I was reading in some other forums about it may be due to the power supply and/or capacitor. This morning I was so frustrated by my whole day being wasted in essence that I switched the bedroom tivo which has given no problems whatsoever into the living room. Guess what? Same problem. I'm assuming it has to be the tv, but I have no clue what to do or how to proceed. Could it still be a problem with these certain that are having problems with the new tv?

PLEASE, PLEASE anyone offer suggestions, advice, etc.

    Thanks!

Maybe it's a problem with your satellite lines.
