    Netflix stutters on Ser 3...but not on HD

    I've had a Series 3 for a couple years and it's great. Watch Netflix streaming often but some content stutters, i.e lurches forward, mostly when panning.

    I have a solid 3mbps wireless connection and get full bars and hardly ever any buffering.

    A couple of weeks ago I gave my mom an HD TiVo. Watching Netflix on hers there is no stutter on the same content, and she has the same type internet connection.

    Is there anything I can do to help my Series 3? Can one add more RAM? Would a wired connection make a big difference?

    I'd recommend you at least try wired to see if it makes a difference.

        It really is a pretty key test - maybe just run a long cable temporarily?

          Yes, I agree and it will be relatively easy to do the test.

          I kinda don't want it to work though cuz to make it permanent I have to go into the dreaded crawlspace...

          I'd much prefer a solution that I could provide from the comfort of my cozy den... preferably with the tv on...
