  • intermittent audio loss on HD XL

I have a new Series 3 HD XL - and I love it!. Running software 11.od-01-2-652. I noticed that periodically as I am watching live TV the audio just stops outputting- even while the video continues merrily along. If i go back a few seconds, nothing changes, but if I pause the picture, then start playing it again, it restores and resumes audio like nothing was ever wrong. It is more of an annoyance, but just curious if anyone else has this issue - or it is just me? Also I noticed sometimes when I start that I hear a brief series of audio "clicks", but no audio. My younger daughter hears a very high pitched noise, but my hearing does not pick it up. I only hear the clicks. Is this a synchronization issue with audio and video? If I "pause" and then "play" audio seems to play fine. Happens 2-3 times a day.

I haven't really seen that at all - usually the video is the first to experience problems due to the greater throughput needs. So this might be a cabling issue, or an issue in a related component.

What audio output are you using? Are you set to Dolby?
    Been here a long time . . .
