HR10-250 Original Dead Drive, new drive available - Help

Hi there,
Sorry for not searching the forum before typing this email but here's my situation.

I have a HR10-250 with the original Drive dead, I do have an extra drive available to use BUT all i've read so far. it looks like I need to have the precious original drive to transfer the Tivo Software.

Is there a way to do a fresh install using a new harddrive?
