I'm a huge Tivo fan, and a new member to these boards.

I just sent in my Series 2 DRT400 system to upgrade the HDs
and a new burner.

Any reason why they stop including DVD recorders on the new models?
There are a few new features on the newer models that I would love to have,
hoever I wouldn't give up my burner for these. I know I can always buy an
external burner, but I like the covenience of the one included with Tivo.

So, I did the upgrades for more room on my Tivo and to keep the burner.
Maybe some day they will produce a new model with burners. I'm surprised
it was removed.
