Empty Tivo 1--how can I transfer to it?

Hi all--I have an old Tivo Series 1 that is totally empty and I'd like to transfer some of my shows from my Series 3 onto it to use in our workout room. (Maybe that will inspire me to actually USE the equipment!) I don't want to pay a service on it. Anyone have any ideas?

You'd have to connect the two units with a cable and press play on the S3 and then record on the S1.
