Dead Series 2 Tivo

I have a series 2 (model TCD140060) that does not power up. No welcome screen. The lights on the sides of the front display are constantly flashing. I have replaced the power supply but I still have the same problem. Anyone have an idea what could be wrong besides the motherboard?

Typically, flashing lights are not a good sign...it is typically the sign of a failed motherboard.
