I have been trying to make a "daily call" on my DirecTivo (Phillips DSR-708) using Vonage IP phone. I know a call isn't really necessary unless you use PPV,but I would like rid myself of the daily nag msg to make a call.DTV says Tivo canceled out several of the numbers.My call log shows they are being made,just not being connected. Any ideas?

You can listen in on another phone, or dial the number manually, to see if the number is good. You might also try an external modem:
