TIVO Series 2 USB Port Question

I own a TIVO Series 2 DVR (TCD 240040). I have a VCR connected to my TIVO and can transfer recorded programs to a VHS tape. I want to be able to transfer recorded programs to a DVD. My Question: Is it possible to use the USB connection on the back of my TIVO to transfer recorded programs to my computer?

If I can get the recorded program to my computer, I can burn a DVD.

Yes - you just need a USB to ethernet adapter, and then TiVo Desktop software on your computer.
