Help with series2 - plays but won't record

I have a series2 Tivo. Just recently it stopped recording everything. It still looks like it is trying to record but nothing is saved. All of the lights work on the front. Likewise when I try watch Live TV I get a black screen. So far there are no pixilation problems. Old programs play fine. The Tivo menus look fine too. I am definitely getting a cable signal

Does this sound like a tuner, a power supply, a mother board or something else?

Maybe that's a motherboard, but have you tried rebooting it? Redoing Guided Setup? Restarting the cable box?
