TIVO says line is busy

Hi everybody

I"m having a problem with my TIVO where the unit always reports the telephone line as in use even when its not. Has anyone ever had this problem before? Thanks for any advice.

It sounds like you need an external modem. See:

TiVo External Modem

You might also try turning off phone available detection, but I'm guessing that won't help.
