Ok, here's the situation. My Hughes SD40 was freezing up so I replaced the hard drive with a Magnetic Data 120gb drive( which I found out via this forum MD drives are problematic in dvrs) and that drive started freezing within a day or two of transferring all of my season passes and recorded shows using the Hinsdale how-to. SO, I have now replaced the 120gb drive with a seagate db35.3 and transferred all of my shows and season passes off of the original 40gb drive only to find my dvr frozen this morning!?!?!? What can be causing the freezes? Bad software being transferred from the original drive? A bad unit? Please help. Why would something I love be so mean to me?
