    Almost There... screen

    I just installed a new drive in our S3 as the old one was getting flaky (picture freezes, stuttering, reboots). Powered up and have achieved the "Almost There...Just a few minutes more" screen. But that's been up for a little over 30 minutes now. I don't know if there's some major housekeeping going on or if it's truly stuck.

    Suggestions on how long I should wait or if this indicates trouble?

    That doesn't sound right at all. Have you checked the internal connections? Did the old drive boot?

      Yes, I reseated the internal connections. Since I couldn't get it to work I put the old drive back in and it does indeed boot.
