    I just installed my new Tivo Series 2 DT (649080). I had a Series 2 (single tuner) that I was replacing with the DT. I went into my account online and change the service number. I went through the guided set-up and everything looked like it was working fine; however, when I clicked on Guide, it says that the account is closed. I restarted and also had it go back and reconnect and pull in all of the programming guide stuff (whatever that's called where it goes through phone line to download and install programming). Again, this all completed successfully (or so it says), but my account status still says closed. I went online and verified that my account was still active and the service number reflected my new Tivo. I also called Tivo CS twice and they verified the account is fine on their end. It still is showing account closed on the box. I have reset/deleted everything and restarted multiple times without success. The Tivo CSR said that it could be because it had not been a full 24 hours since I changed the service # (it had been about 13 hours). Does anyone have any advice or has anyone else experienced this problem.

    You might need to wait a bit for the status to update, and you might also be getting a new OS version (common for a new unit). If the OS is upgrading, you likely won't see the account status change until the OS installs and the unit reboots.
