Hi all, just to give you some info first. I have a Humax DRT400 I upgraded the drive about a year or so ago from weaknees. Recently, I had to move some of my equipment around so I disconnected and reconnected my humax. Now the box goes into start up and will not go further. Stays on "welcome, powering up" screen.

This unit only records in SD format correct? I have been considering upgrading my TV to HDTV. Do I get another drive and hope that fixes the problem and stay with SD; or should I go out and buy the tivo HD DVR. I really liked having the DVD recorder/ all in one feature. In otherwords, can I upgrade the DRT400 for HDTV, and view 1080i quality on this unit? Is it worth it? Suggestions?
