Have read various posting but seem to have a little different issue.
My Series 3 is just over 1 year old. Do not have HD cards installed, will be going HD in the future. The unit has worked without any issue until about a month ago and the following issue has now occurred 4 times.
When I have turned the TV to access programs via the TIVO unit, the screen is frozen showing a frame of a program that must have been in progress and is locked locked on that frame. Sometimes the remote actions would not allow the TIVO unit do anything sometimes changing the channel on the remote started the TIVO recording again. If the remote did not help, I powered down and restarted the unit and it continued working fine for a while.
Read another post about deleting programs from the recently deleted file for a similar problem. Removed all programs in the deleted file and the unit appeared to work fine until 10 minutes ago. Went to look at the status and it was frozen again. Changing channels on the remote put the TIVO back in service. History is approaching the maximum space. Checked the signal strength again. It has always been between a low of 84 and a high of 92 on all channels.
Any ideas on this problem? I have never seen a solid black or blue screen when this occurs.
