My TV gets an off the air channel that TIVO does not

My TV will receive ch 11-1 and all the other local HD channels. But for some reason my Direct tv hr-10 250 Tivo shows the trouble shooting screen on ch 11-1 but gets all the other local HD channels.

The TV and Tivo antenna were split at first but for a test I set the Tivo up right at the antenna. Still no ch.11-1.

Any Ideals

Some have said the tuner in the HR10-250s aren't as strong as other tuners, so you should try amplifing the signal to see if that helps.

Been here a long time . . .

My TVs get all but one local channel - no problem. At first I thought my Tivo HR10-250 had a dead tuner. On another blog Weaknees suggested decreasing the amplification. It didn't make sense.... BUT IT WORKED!

That makes sense, being the channel is the most powerful in the area. I'll give it a try thanks.
