    Can't transfer some programs

    I have two TiVo HD XL systems. Sometimes I record on one and transfer and watch on the other. Some programs are marked as non-transferrable (TNT's LEVERAGE is one such).

    Is there a way to tell in advance, before recording, which programs I will not be able to transfer?

    Or, better yet, is there a workaround for the transfer block?

    As far as we know, there's no way to know ahead of time.

      It could also be that the company that owns the show decided to enable the copy protection flag which would not allow you to transfer to another TiVo. The only I ever really see it is on TiVoCasts (which really seems silly when you think about it).

      I stumbled across this thread (the guy ended up having a problem with his sat receiver).

      Perhaps check with your provider and see if that show really is marked?

        Tried rebooting. No joy. Still marked as non-transferrable.

          Then it sounds like it was intentional on the part of the broadcaster.
