Pioneer 810h DVD problem

I recently began receiving the following message when I try to watch a DVD in my Pioneer 810h:

"Invalid or unsupported disc"

Has anyone had a similar experience? How did you correct it? I suspect that the drive is probably shot and I need a new one, but if someone has a cheaper solution, I'm all ears.

You probably need a new burner, which we have here:
